Founder
As a visionary founding partner of Suburban Stationers, David Shulman was instrumental in establishing the company in Middletown, Connecticut, in 1979. David dedicated his career to building the business from the ground up, rooted in a philosophy of exceptional customer service and deep community involvement. His strategic foresight and commitment to the professional regional community established the firm foundation upon which the company thrives today. Though he passed away in March 2025, David’s legacy of excellence and his foundational values continue to guide Suburban Stationers as a lasting fixture in the industry.
Raymond Bourret

Raymond Bourret merged with Dave in the 1980s, becoming an integral force in the company’s evolution and growth. Bringing a sharp focus on operational excellence and the cultivation of long-term client relationships, Raymond helped shape Suburban from its earliest days. His dedication to maintaining the company’s reputation as a trusted provider of workplace organizational supplies has been a driving factor in the business's longevity.
